AHN’s Patient Care Fund was created to help people who are working hard every day to help themselves. Every penny goes directly to patient services. What began as a safety net for families whose resources run dry during the course of medical treatment has now expanded to include funding for specific populations, for instance, cancer patients. One dollar into this fund provides ten to twenty times its value in medical services.
Here are some examples of how your donation to the Patient Care Fund will be used:
- A $50 donation provides
- a child an eye exam and a pair of glasses, or
- sends 2 children to a pediatrician.
A $75 donation will help two women have mammograms.
A $100 donation can
- pay the surgical fees for a woman’s breast biopsy, or
- pay for full dental exams for 3 children.
A $500 donation is
- 20 eye exams, or
- 12 dental visits, or
- 20 primary care visits, or
- 2 MRI’s

Won’t you consider becoming a partner in our Shared Responsibility model and give what you can to Access to Healthcare Network’s Patient Care Fund? Our members are poor and uninsured: families of four living on $2,000 a month, single parents working two jobs and making $1,500 a month, or a single man or woman living on disability payments of $1,000 a month. Our members make too much to qualify for Medicaid, they’re not old enough to qualify for Medicare, and they can’t afford a regular insurance policy. They are uninsured despite their best efforts, and there are hundreds of thousands of them in Nevada alone.
Together we can help those who are truly in need get the healthcare they truly deserve.
