Resources for Seniors & Disabled Services
Access to Healthcare Network (AHN) works with the state of Nevada to deliver the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ARDC) and the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) to vulnerable Nevadans. These programs serve seniors, adults living with chronic diseases, people with disabilities, and seniors requesting Medicare information.
Services we provide include:
- Medicaid, SNAP benefit and energy assistance applications
- Questions on your Medicare benefits
- Prescription resources
- Skilled advice on available community resources
With the onset of COVID-19 (novel Coronavirus) the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) considers these populations to be highly at-risk. The ADRC and SHIP departments continue to offer these services uninterrupted. To maintain the social distancing necessary to protect these vulnerable populations, AHN is offering these services by phone. Please call us if you need assistance now or in the future. Our staff is here to answer your questions or if you just want someone to talk to.
